Sort using Column Options

This is the first video in our three-part series on sorting reports in FAST. In this quick tip, you'll learn how to sort report data directly from a report using Column Options. Simply click on the column title, select your preferred sorting option, and FAST will automatically refresh the report with the sorted results. We'll also show you how to remove the sort by returning to the column options and selecting Remove All Sorting or Remove Sorting on This Column. Steps Covered: Click the column title you want to sort. Select the desired sorting option. Review the refreshed, sorted results. Click the column title again. Select Remove All Sorting or Remove Sorting on This Column to clear the sort. This method is perfect for quickly organizing data while viewing a report—no report configuration changes required.
