Audit Security Access

The User/Role Assignment Audit Log in FAST provides a record of changes made to user-role assignments. Because FAST security is role-based, this log is a critical tool for tracking how user access to the system has been granted or modified over time. In FAST, roles determine what a user can see and do. Any change to role assignments represents a change in user permissions. The audit log helps administrators understand how access has evolved over time, verify that security changes were applied correctly, and ensure appropriate access controls are maintained. Navigate to: Site Administration > Information > User/Role Assignment Audit Log. This report is part of the broader set of security and auditing tools available in FAST. Common Use Cases • Identify when a user was added to or removed from a role • Confirm onboarding and offboarding updates • Verify temporary or expiring role assignments • Provide a historical record of access changes • Identify incorrect or unintended role assignments
